Transworld Surf Magazine is intended for the next generation of surfers. It connects you to the surf community and introduces you to contests around the world, profiles on the up and coming surfers, interviews with the seasoned pros, trick tips and amazing action photos. Sadly, the magazine was discontinued in 2013.
My redesign of the magazine includes all the context of the original magazine but with more sophistication that does not take itself too seriously. From the color scheme to the layout itself, I intertwined modern simplicity with 70’s surf aesthetic. I feel this layout has a solid grid system but flexibility to adapt to the information in each editorial.
